Photos of my choice

So for the first photo, to be honest, I don't even know how the sky faded so well into the building, but it was beautiful. I tried to give it the feel that there is so much behind the building and it's a mystery of what it is by keeping the sky in almost the top 2/3's of the photo. The second I got to use some editing to make the contrast of light and dark at the forefront while using the stairs and the two different types of light paths to create a feel of flow. One path of solid darkness and a dotted line of light.

For the first photo I tried to get a student editing a photo and scrolling the mouse across the screen while keeping him in the vertical 1/3 (the head at least) and the cat in the horizontal 1/3. The second I caught him pondering what to do to the cat with a real good 45 degree angle of vision on the cat, with each subject taking up 1/3 again.

The first photo I tried to grasp the depth and vastness of the campus while showcasing the great angles of the grass and sidewalks while having the light post be dead center. The second photo I tried to use the extremely high angle to have the walking kid look very insignificant on the huge campus green. Side note: it was hard to get the legs perfectly spread to show how hard he was striding.

The first photo I chose was a panorama of the band practice to try to show all the aspects that go on in a small space and how intense looking it can be. The second I tried to capture Matt questioning what he was playing while intently listening to the other people in the band play. The black and white is to try and show how definitive a finished song must be.
